The AIARE 1 is a decision making course for backcountry travelers wanting to learn to manage their personal and group risk and conduct the most effective companion rescue possible in the event of an accident. We offer courses this year out of Mammoth Lakes! These are the best Level 1 courses in the country, developed and taught by the most experienced AIARE qualified instructors in the industry.

Experience a Winter Wonderland Lit by Moonlight. Take in the moon-lit scenic beauty on this after dark snowshoe excursion. Depart the Tamarack Cross-Country Ski Center between 6:30–7PM for a 1.5-hour guided tour.

Bucky's Bonfire is a weekly family friendly event held in front of the Chalet at June Mountain. The festivities kick off with fun, lively music from the Chalet deck, a bonfire followed by an appearance from the Buckster. This is your chance for a photo or high five from our furry friend. After, you can take a run with Bucky down his favorite trail appropriately named Bucky's.

Join Woolly and friends for music and a dance party in The Village Plaza. A must-attend kids' event for all ages.
