Happy 2024! Winter is a magical season in the Eastern Sierra. After the astonishing colors of fall, the landscape transforms to a soft and glistening white winter wonderland. The sun takes on a unique glow…a different kind of light that says “Winter is here”. It is a special time to enjoy the warmth of home, while warming by a beautiful fire with family and friends and being inspired to focus on cooking and sharing and the cozy things that make one appreciate our amazing winter wonderland. Of course, hitting our world-class slopes or the cross-country ski, snowshoe and snowmobile trails will also be on the agenda for many who live here or visit. This is truly my special time to enjoy being here in this special place. Enjoy this time of togetherness with family and friends. Peace, love and happiness to everyone in the New Year ahead!

We’ve got water!
Twin Lakes is a spectacularly beautiful summer vacation area in the heart of the Sierra Nevada mountains. Located just 13 miles from Bridgeport, at the base of the Sawtooth Ridge, where families have made it their summer destination for many generations. It is a uniquely beautiful area. It features two resorts: Annett’s Mono Village, located at the end of Twin Lakes Road, offering camping for more than 300 RVs trailers, comfortable cabins, a store, café and outdoor concerts throughout the season. The season typically runs from Fishing Opener, the last weekend of April, until October 31st.
The largest, record winning, brown trout ever caught in California was caught in Upper Twin Lake! It weighed in at more than 26 pounds! Twin Lakes Estates is a subdivision created by the Annett family and has offered the opportunity for those who appreciate the area to enjoy summer living ever since. There is also Lower Twin Lakes Resort, offering cabins, RV camping and an amazing fishing experience. There is a store, deli and full-service marina. This is a friendly, owner-operated resort, where everyone is warmly welcomed. Enjoy world-class fishing, hiking, exploring, or just relax and take in the amazing views! Whatever your pleasure, you will find it in Twin Lakes!

The Bridgeport Inn is a beautiful historic Victorian Inn, built in 1877 by Hiram Levitt as his personal residence and stagecoach stop offering respite between the northern towns of Carson City, Sonora and Virginia City and Bodie, a booming mining town of silver, gold, and other metals. The Inn has its own resident ghost Sara who occasionally roams the halls of the inn. And, Mark Twain also stayed at the Inn during his travels in what was the wild, wild west of northern California.
The Inn is located on Highway 395, on the main street of Bridgeport, CA. With a reputation for comfortable lodging, fine dining, and friendly service, the Bridgeport Inn has long been a favorite destination for travelers from around the world.
