We’ll be walking along Hot Creek Hatchery Road, viewing paintbrushes to rock cresses, typically species adapted to alkaline soils. Mosquitoes may be present, and it will be warm and sunny. Bring water and sun protection! The walk will also involve a gradual slope on pavement, but it is fairly accessible. Vault restrooms available at the trailhead.
