The AIARE 1 is a decision making course for backcountry travelers wanting to learn to manage their personal and group risk and conduct the most effective companion rescue possible in the event of an accident.

Bucky's Bonfire is a weekly family friendly event held in front of the Chalet at June Mountain. The festivities kick off with fun, lively music from the Chalet deck, a bonfire followed by an appearance from the Buckster.

This one day avalanche rescue course is designed for AIARE 1 alumni and is a great way to kick the snow season into gear. Review and practice the backcountry decision-making framework and upgrade companion rescue skills in a primarily field- based format. Minimum of 3 to run.
